For more than 2 decades Hard2Def is a well known DJ & producer to crowds and DJs worldwide. Starting with his early beginnings as one of the first Europeans to release AV8 like partybreaks, to his work as a producer & remixer for German rap & r&b artists, to his first own releases in Dancehall music, Hard2Def always tended to be an early adaptor of new musical trends earning him a reputation as a tastemaker.

As a DJ he would describe himself as an urban dj with a carribean heart playing Hiphop & R&B with shots of Dancehall & Carribean sounds. So it is no surprise that his very own list of releases is filled with Dancehall tunes as he worked with artists like Beenie Man, Charly Black, Leftside, Million Stylez, ItsNatascha, Stylo G, Skarra Mucci, Daville Thomas, Alozade, T.O.K, Bay-C, Vershon and many more on singles and riddim albums.

With several singles climbing up to the German urban charts DUC’s number one spot he definitely left his footprints on Germany’s club sounds & accumulated more than 20 Million plays on streaming services worldwide. As a co-producer he worked on numerous other top singles with his partner-in-crime DJ Rapture and a few more of the big names in the German industry adding another 20 Million+ streams to the list of achievements as a co-producer/ghost-producer.
 

Besides his work as a club DJ & producer, Hard2Def also works as radio-dj, mixing & hosting shows on numerous stations in Germany over the last years.
